It’s time to break the cycle.
ONLINE therapy for teens & young adults
The world isn’t what it used to be, and it’s having a big impact on youth.
The world feels crazier, more intense, busier, and less safe than it used to. Teens and young adults are getting constant messages from the world about the “right” way to be and it makes it harder to decide what is the right path for them.
Young people are swamped with homework, worried about their future, and always feeling stuck like they can never get it all done. They feel like they need to decide their path today but can’t quite figure out what they want and always feel like they’re coming up short.
Many youth worry that they may have serious diagnoses or learning disabilities that are getting in the way of their success. And some do! I help my clients sort out their challenges and how to address them in a constructive way and without anxiety and pressure.
And all the while friendship challenges keep them worried about fitting in and feeling good about themselves.
I help teens and young adults break free of the cycles that are holding them back from living a life they love. Clear the noise and all the pressure and focus on what’s really important. Develop new habits and skills that they WANT to do and teach the neuroscience to make sure they work. And of course, just listen with a compassionate ear.
I also help them take a close look at what habits and challenges are working for them, holding them back, or need to be addressed.
For all minor clients I require parent-involvement while respecting the teen’s confidentiality. Parents are the most important people in a child’s life (even if they won’t admit it) and need support doing the hardest job there is.
